Hailing from Newcastle NSW, Australian country/folk/rock artist Austin Mackay is known for his diverse approach to songwriting that seamlessly blends heartfelt folk melodies with dynamic rock energy. Drawing on influences including James Bay, John Mayer, Matt Corby and KALEO, Austin spent years crafting his own fusion of folk/rock, brought to life through his raw storytelling and captivating deliveries.

Austin’s charming stage presence has seen him supporting the likes of Brad Cox, The Dreggs, Kim Churchill and Boo Seeka (to name a few), as well as playing at a number of Australian festivals including: Byron Bay Bluesfest, Springtime Festival, Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers & Lighthouse Festival. With his natural ability to delight audiences, Austin is no stranger to the stage, having been on the road for the past three years, playing sold-out headline shows across the country.

The lure of Austin’s music can be felt across mediums, with his discography gaining more than 1.3 million streams on Spotify alone. The past year has seen Austin deliver a number of new tracks in both his ‘Dancing Through The Fire’ EP and singles ‘Call Me Lover’ and ‘Real Life’, all highlighting different sonic strengths in the lead up to his latest release, country/rock anthem ‘Since Autumn’.
